Biography: Early Life and Education
Yunjin spent much of her childhood and teenage years in New York State in the United States, where she went by Jennifer Huh. Her school life wasn’t focused on just one interest. She participated in choir, drama, musicals and sports, while also developing a serious interest in singing and songwriting.
Musical theatre played an especially important part in her early development.
During high school, she performed as Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera and received recognition connected to New York’s high-school musical theatre scene. Those experiences helped build the vocal and stage foundation fans now see in LE SSERAFIM.

The group launched under Source Music with the mini album FEARLESS. Source Music describes LE SSERAFIM as a five-member multinational girl group, while the name itself is an anagram of “I’M FEARLESS.”
For Yunjin, FEARLESS wasn’t simply her first album release. It represented the end of an unusually long pre-debut period.
